Let's suppose two bowls full of dark water. And you put clean water into one bowl and dark water and clean water into the other at the same time. Then, while the former bowl looks clean, the latter still stays full of dark water. It is the same with our faith. If we pray without ceasing and keep and practice the word of truth of God, we can accomplish the heart of God who is goodness, light, and love. Conversely, if we confess our love for God and seem to pray but still love the lusts of the world, it is not easy for us to throw away evils from the heart.
