A spring collapses as soon you put pressure on it with your hand, but the stored energy causes it to spring out again if you take your hand off. The evil in the heart is like a spring. After accepting Jesus Christ, people realize that they have envy, jealousy and anger in their hearts when they listen to the word in the Bible. However, you cannot be changed if you simply accept the evil and suppress it once you become aware of it. For example, you will never get angry if you get rid of anger, but if you just patiently suppress it sometime or another it will blow up. Toleration and suppression are temporary methods of control, but the original solution is to get rid of the evil in your heart.
