Can a preacher change a man's heart if he has superior knowledge and an exceptional ability to express himself? He can be praised for eloquent speaking and vast knowledge, but those things alone cannot change an evil heart into a good one. It is because he cannot plant faith, he cannot lead a man to meet God, and he cannot solve problems. If a man wants to be able to change the heart of another, he must receive power from God by living according to the Word of God. He can then change many people in the truth. It is written, "For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power"(1 Corinthians 4:20).
