As people get older, they can easily become depressed when they feel the loss of their wealth, honor and health that they had piled up since their youth. But the wise come close to God the Creator with poor hearts and make their spirit new and prosperous. In the Second Epistle to the Corinthians 4:16, the Apostle Paul confessed, "Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day." Paul pleased God and he enjoyed an even happier life with the passing of time.
