Your life can change according to whom you meet. One day, Onesimus caused financial harm to his master and ran away to Rome. He was later evangelized by Paul, who was in jail with him, and he became a faithful and beloved Christian (Philemon 1:9-10). He changed to become such a faithful worker for God that Paul described Onesimus as "my child", "my very heart", and "a beloved brother" in his letter to Philemon. He received precious eternal life and his life had been dramatically changed by a life-changing meeting.
