No matter how valuable something is, it is of no benefit if its value is not realized by the one who has it. Although the gospel of Jesus Christ has been preached to almost the whole world, there are still few who know its true value. Those who know the value of the gospel will not only recognize Jesus Christ, who redeemed us from our sins, but they will also live by the Word. Such people can both receive blessings on this earth as well as possess Heaven. On the contrary, though a person may profess to believe in Jesus Christ, if he doesn't know the true value of the gospel and doesn't live by the Word, in the end he will go the way of death (Matthew 7:21).
