Faith is the proof of love. What if there were no trust between a husband and wife? They would only cause suffering for each other by quarrelling and doubting everything. True love trusts to the end although others have defects and insufficiencies. The love of God is the same. Because He trusts us to become changed, He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to forgive us of all our sins when we were still sinners and He's also been waiting for a 1,000 years as though it were but a single day, just waiting for the change.
