There are many people who live by their own will even though they pray saying that they entrust God with the course of their lives. For example, they pray for guidance in business. Yet, if they think the answer they seek is slow arriving, they just handle it in their own way. Then, most of them go through hardships. It is because they didn't really entrust their business to God. They acted with their own desires and ways of handling things. To truly entrust God with something is to trust Him and then wait until they receive the answer He has given, even if it takes a month or one year.
"Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He will do it" (Psalm 37:5).
