Some people envy those who are superior to them. They try hard, even with evil scheming, to get ahead of those others who are more outstanding than they. These people might seem to get what they want, but in the end they see their wickedness return to them like a boomerang. Even though their lives are successful on earth, all their efforts are found in vain if their souls are not allowed to enter Heaven. Therefore, we must not waste our energy in jealousy toward others. Instead we need to live in the Word of God and ask in faith in order to become all the more excellent.
