If a person has something good, he has a tendency to boast about it. If a man has all kinds of good things, but he is on the way to hell, of what good are they to him? The boastful pride of life is no more than vanity. Therefore, if we are going to boast, we should boast about our experience in faith by meeting the living God and not boast of the worldly things. This is the pride that gives glory to God. So, it will be a reward in the heavenly kingdom as well.
"But HE WHO BOASTS IS TO BOAST IN THE LORD." (2 Corinthians 10:17)
