Although you committed sins and have only judgment ahead of you, if you turn back from the sins and repent, you will receive God's grace. Hezekiah, the 13th king of the Southern Judah, was mortally ill, but he did not simply give up his life. He looked back upon his past life and repented with tears. God heard his repentance prayer, healed him, and even gave him promise that He would protect him from attacks of other countries. As recorded in Luke 15:7, God shows his grace and forgiveness to those who repent and return to Him.
