Today many people attend church, but not everyone will receive salvation and go to Heaven. Only when they possess faith by which they can reach salvation with assurance can they go to the heavenly kingdom. As written in Romans 10:9, in order to have such faith, we need not only to confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is the Savior who came to the earth to redeem us from our sins, but also need to believe deep in our hearts that He was crucified and resurrected. So, we can have the assurance of salvation when we have true faith by obeying what God tells us to do, not to do, to keep, and to throw away.
