How do people feel when they see someone causing trouble for them come to suffer from adversity? Some people feel at ease with it. Others, who have good hearts, may have compassion for them. How does the God of love feel? No matter how serious the sin is that a person commits, if he repents and turns back, God will not even remember the transgression. In Jonah 3:4-10 there is an illustration of God's mercy in which the entire city of Nineveh was warned of their impending destruction due to their sins. But as a result of their thorough repentance, God forgave their sins. We have to fully realize this love of God with goodness of heart and regardless of the situation we must forgive the mistakes of others.
