Most people feel uncomfortable when they are pointed out for shortcomings or rebuked by anyone else. But a wise and humble person readily accepts the rebuke and turns it into a good chance for development. Just as parents sometimes scold their children to correct them and lead them in the right direction, God also leads His children. He teaches and disciplines them through the Bible. He teaches His children His will and He shows them the most blessed way. That's why when we meditate on the Bible and keep and obey the words recorded in it, we can be guided on the path to eternal life while leading a blessed life on the earth as well (Proverbs 1:7).
