Let's say one devotes their personal strengths, time, and money to volunteer works. But, it seems that there is no one who recognizes him for it. Consequently he feels uncomfortable and even complains about it. What is missing in his volunteer work? It is love. Even if we surrender our body to be burned, without love, sacrifice profits us nothing, (1 Corinthians 13:3). If we work with true love for God regardless of whether people recognize it or not, God delights in it and pays us back with blessings.
