Some say that we will be surprised in Heaven because people who we think will surely be there are not there. Others will be surprised because someone who was neglected on the earth has gained a high place and elevated position there. It implies that since God looks at the heart His standard is different from the standards of man. When we keep and practice the Word of God without caring how it appears to others, then we can also become a prominent person in Heaven.
"For it is not he who commends himself that is approved, but he whom the Lord commends" (2 Corinthians 10:18).
