We find sailing with a destination and just drifting without one totally different. Some people manage their lives with the specific goal of an eternal life in Heaven while others just live without the goal as though the earthly life were all that there is. Then, they have little choice but lead totally different lives. If we have strong faith and hope in the everlasting Heaven, our emotions do not fluctuate between sorrow and joy. We can rejoice, feel thankful, and finally achieve a victory even in hardship.
