A poor farmer eagerly looked about for a diamond. He finally died without finding any diamonds. Yet, the one who bought the farmer's land by chance discovered that diamonds did lie here and there on the lands. In this manner, what people regard as precious is hidden around us. Then, what is hidden in our heart? Jesus let us know that it is the kingdom of heaven that is hidden in our heart. To possess the kingdom of heaven, we have to cast away evil things in our heart like hatred, anger, and greed, and cultivate it into a good one.
"The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field." (Matthew 13:44)
