If you were told to put your child on death row in the place of a death-row convict, what would you say? Most of you would say it is nonsense. However, this is just what God did. He gave up Jesus, His only begotten Son, to save us who were sinners. While Jesus hung miserably on the cross, God felt so much pain that darkness fell over the whole land. By enduring such great sorrow, God opened the way to eternal life for us sinners. We must not forget this love (Romans 5:8).
