Is there anyone who carelessly calls his parents or those who are respected or esteemed by their given names? Moreover, how can a person so de-value the names of such people just to make some others laugh! Yet in much the same way there are believers who quote verses from the Bible while making a useless joke. Since it is 'The Word is God', if you really love God, you must not do so! You must cherish the Bible verses more than anything else. "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain" (Exodus 20:7).
