Have you ever loved someone unrequitedly? Suppose you love her so much, but she doesn't know your heart. It must have been heartbreaking. God loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son for us. He has been waiting for us to return to His bosom as though a thousand years is but a day. If we realize His love and try to practice the truth even a little bit, He greatly rejoices and expresses His great love. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
