A biblical figure Jacob loved Joseph more than all his other sons. Was it only because Joseph was the son of Rachel whom he loved very much? If Joseph had been favored for that reason only, he could not have attracted Potiphar's attention. Potiphar was Pharaoh's officer so he must have been prudent and cautious about people all the time. Joseph gained his trust and became the overseer over his house. It proves that Joseph was a very faithful person. When it seems someone is widely loved by others you should not be jealous but examine why he is loved and take after his good attributes.
