Some people have outstanding ability in certain skills such as singing with a beautiful voice or playing musical instruments. No matter how awesome the skills and abilities they may have, all of them will turn into nothing after their earthly lives end. If we fulfill duties in the Lord, however, all our efforts and work will be transformed into heavenly rewards. To the extent that we live by the Word of God, fulfill God-given duties, and achieve the heart of the Lord all the more, we can receive more beautiful rewards in heaven. Thus, if you have faith, you will not pursue things on the earth that perish, but set your mind on the things above (Colossians 3:2).
