A person may be able to give all they have to others who are in need, but what if that person was asked to give his life for them. It would never be easy. Jesus, God's only begotten Son, gave His life for mankind on the cross and thereby opened the way to salvation for them. God loves them not just with words, but He sacrificed His Son and showed His true love for men (Romans 5:8). Christmas is the day we celebrate the coming of Jesus to the earth in God's great love. I urge you to remember His love and to give God thanks with joy for our salvation (Luke 2:11).
