Healed of degenerative sciatica
Senior Deaconess Hyeoncho Bang(Age 60, the 15th Parish)
In March 2021, my back started hurting. At first, I thought it was because I had jogged too much. I didn’t take it seriously. However, as time passed by, it became more uncomfortable.
Three months later, in June, it became hard to even walk. If I walked a little, my leg got paralyzed from the foot, and I had to take a break about three times to go to the place 10 minutes away.
As a result of the hospital doctor’s diagnosis, it was degenerative sciatica. The doctor said I needed special treatment if I did not receive surgery. There is no natural cure without having medical treatment or surgery.
I made up my mind to sign up for the Divine Healing Meeting in September and receive prayer. I prayed earnestly that I would surely get healed and glorify God at this opportunity. Then, after receiving prayer at the meeting, the movement of my legs improved a bit, but the pain remained.
I saw people with more serious diseases were healed and glorified God. So, I began to look back to rind out the reason why I was not able to receive answers. While I was pondering and praying, God reminded me of something.
When I was 13, one of my relatives said that my nose looked like droop down a lot and recommended an illegal plastic surgery. I was scared, so I ran away, but eventually I got caught and got a shot.
Then, when I was around 22, my nose looked dying like with a blue bruise. Lumps with the size of beads appeared on it. When I went to see a plastic surgeon, the doctor said that the drug was embedded in every cell tissue, so it could not be scraped off. He also said that he should cut my nose to scrape off any remaining medication, and make a nose with the skin from other parts of the body. I was so startled that I cried when I got home.
After that, I kept receiving the prayer for the sick of Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee by faith after his sermon by relying on God. As time went on, the lump in my nose got smaller and there was nothing wrong with it. As I was getting healed slowly, I did not give thanks even after experiencing such a great power of God.
Realizing this, I repented of it, and while preparing for the Divine Healing Meeting in December, I gradually restored the faith I had lost and my first love, and I offered up thanksgiving prayer a lot. And after receiving Acting Senior Pastor Dr. Soojin Lee’s prayer for the sick during the Divine Healing Meeting, the remaining pain went away. I didn’t feel hard to do anything while standing at all and I could even run. Hallelujah!
I give all thanks and glory to God the Father who gives the best things to His beloved children.
Healed of back disc
Deaconess Yeonhwa Hyun (Age 77, the 16th Parish)
When I enrolled in our church in May 2007, I was completely healed of knee arthritis and back pain that I had been suffering for over 20 years, thanks to the prayer of Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee.
However, in August of 2021, I had back pain again. I bumped my back against the window frame, and my back started to hurt again, and then suddenly my left leg was paralyzed.
The doctor said that my back stenosis had moved to a disc and recommended a physical therapy along with medication. But I wanted to be healed by God through faith without receiving medical treatment. I made up my mind to be healed at the Divine Healing Meeting the next month.
I prayed to find out the reason why I was not protected by God and got back pain again. Then God enlightened me through a dream. In my dream, the Senior Pastor saw me gathering something, and he told me to cat off selfishness, greed, and covetousness. In another dream, he told me to cast away evil feelings. In a dream on the other day, Dr. Soojin Lee took away my watch and said, “Do you feel uneasy?” And she said that I had to cast away all such feelings. After I had those dreams, I realized that I had not thrown away those attributes, and prayed for repentance with many tears.
I attended the only prayer meeting of my Parish, led by Mrs. Boknim Lee, Director of Manmin Prayer Center, and a prayer of repentance burst out. Also, when I attended the Daniel prayer meeting, I repented thoroughly with tears. God poured out His grace like the pouring water.
I should have put the blame on myself, but I blamed and complained to my family. As I realized that I was complaining to God, I felt so sorry. I was ashamed of myself for wishing only to be sanctified without casting away these attributes such as hatred, boasting, judgment, condemnation, and envy.
The Divine Healing Meeting in September, 2021 was held, and I attended it through GCN.
When Dr. Soojin Lee prayed for the sick, the scent of mint entered my nose. It was so amazing.
Wondering, ‘Is this the proof that I’m healed?’, I stood up and walked, lay down, and moved. And there was nothing wrong with me. The back pain was gone and my body felt like flying. Hallelujah!
Now, it is so enjoyable for me to be close to God’s Word and the prayer time is so happy that I pray three times a day; at dawn, during the day, and in the evening at the Daniel Prayer Meeting. I give all thanks and glory to God, the loving Father who healed me and leads me to good heaven.
