In 2021, I saw a doctor due to breathing difficulty and inflammation in the leg. The examination showed eccentric cardiac hypertrophy and one pump of my heart did not function properly. The doctor said I could drop dead at any time. The doctors conducted more thorough examinations and recommended intensive treatment.
The misfunction of the heart caused blood to rush to the legs and it developed edema. It also brought about problems in the lungs. I had received medical treatments for 3 years, but it didn’t work. With the passing of time, cardiac hypertrophy and the heart pump went worse, and respiratory disorder occurred.
Meanwhile, in April of 2024, I was stricken with mosquito bites and developed dengue fever. My respiratory disorder worsened and my temperature exceeded 40 degree Celsius. I was unable to control my body properly. Dengue fever is acute febrile disease accompanied with high fever and 90% of the serious victims die according to the statistics.
Due to dengue fever, I had to urinate every 3 to 10 minutes for the next 4 days and blood came out of nose and ears. The platelet abruptly dropped from at least 150,000 to 72,000 and the doctor said there might be 90% chance of my death.
Despite this I continually tried to pray to God and communicate with the Holy Spirit. And I continued listening to Pastor Emeritus Jaerock Lee’s sermons and Manmin praises dubbed in Spanish. My heart was at pace and my spirit improved. After a while, I sent a prayer request to Dr. Soojin Lee, Senior Pastor of Manmin Central Church in Seoul, Korea.
She prayed for me during the Sunday service on April 21, and to my surprise, my heart improved and my breathing was recovered to normal next day. I could climb the stairs easily and move my body freely.
I went to the hospital, and the examination showed that my platelet had returned to normal and my swollen liver had been recovered well. A month passed and on May 25, I could give a lecture in the seminary for six and a half hours and it felt like just a quarter had passed.
I have served as Regional President of Latin University of Theology in Cono Sur: Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay. I gave my healing testimony to President of Latin University of Theology in U.S. and its seminary students. I give all thanks and glory to God who healed me, and I also appreciate Senior Pastor Soojin Lee’s prayers.
