In early December, 2024, I created itchiness on my right armpit and on the right side of my back. I thought it was a kind of skin disease, but it was not long before I developed blisters and felt severe pain as of pricking with a needle. The pain abruptly increased just by touching of my clothes and I had a great difficulty in my daily life. I went to the hospital and was diagnosed with shingles. The doctor said, “It would be even better for you to come a little earlier before it worsened,” and prescribed my medications. He said he would change my medication according to my condition. I took the medicine the next day but my pain still lasted, so that I stopped it. And in prayers I looked back on my past days, and I discovered my wrongdoings in words and deeds and defects in performing my God-given duties. I repented of them. Ahead of developing shingles, I had felt burdened not a little in performing my missions because of my fleshly thoughts. In last October, I talked with a guidance pastor feeling burdened about my duties. But while repenting, I came to a strong realization that I should perform my missions not by my own strength and ability but by the power of Father God and He Himself accomplishes His kingdom, and since then my heart was filled with joy and peace. I was full of the Spirit as of the restoration of my first love for the Lord. I sprayed Muan sweet water on my diseased parts once a day. In the Sunday morning services and at Daniel prayer meetings, I received Senior Pastor Soojin Lee’s prayer for the sick with faith. To my surprise, there came to be no more pain though it had lasted 3 or 4 weeks. I was completely healed. Hallelujah! Now I no longer feel burden at my missions but commit them into the hands of God, so I’ve been given many more missions. God has enhanced my faith through the healing of shingles and I experienced His great love. I press on toward the goal to repay His grace.
