One Sunday morning in 2015, while I was preparing to go to church with my family, I heard a sermon about the Holy Communion on Enlace TV, the biggest Spanish Christian channel. It was about eating the flesh and drinking the blood of the Son of Man in John 6.
I had never heard such a clear message in my 15 years of Christian life, and I was really blessed by it. My family was waiting but I couldn't stop watching it because I wanted to find out the title of the message and who the preacher was. It was the 21st session of the Message of the Cross of Rev. Jaerock Lee.
Feeling Love of God and Lord through Word of Life
I wanted to find out more about Rev. Jaerock Lee and searched the Internet. I found out he is the senior pastor of Manmin Central Church in Korea. I also found out there was a Manmin church in Colombia, too.
Since then, I listened to more than 10 messages everyday on the church website. I realized it was truly spiritual and deep, living word of God. As I repeatedly listened to the same message, I could understand the width, length, height, and depth of God even more clearly.
On July 5, 2015, I drove 3 hours from my city Sogamoso to Bogota, where Colombia Manmin Church was located. As I visited the church I was convinced that it was an example of the early church that is filled with the Holy Spirit.
From January 2016, I attended Colombia Manmin Church with my son, elder brother, and elder sister, regardless of the distance. In August and October the same year, I went to Korea with my brothers to attend the Summer Retreat and 34th anniversary of the church.
In August 2017, I attended the summer retreat with my relatives. The love of the senior pastor for God and the Lord was intense, and his love for the souls was heart-moving. I was so touched by his devotion to the church and the members that I came to have the desire to have the same kind of devotion.
Opening Local Sanctuary
After that, my parents also came to Manmin Church, so Pastor David Jang would sometimes come to visit us in Sogamoso. My parents also wanted to attend Colombia Manmin Church, but we had to leave at 7 AM and come back at 8 PM. It was too physically demanding for my parents.
So, Pastor David Jang suggested we open a local sanctuary in Sogamoso. By then there were already more than 20 members in Sogamoso alone.
In February 2018, the local sanctuary was opened in Sogamoso, and 25 members had the first service. We attended the worship service of Colombia Manmin Church or Manmin Central Church in Seoul via YouTube video. Our souls prosper and we experienced a lot of signs and wonders through handkerchief prayers (Acts 19:11-12).
As for me, I was healed of arthritis as well as a genetic disease coming down from my grandfather. The disease surfaced in 2009 and I couldn't walk normally for a month. The doctors just prescribed antibiotics and painkillers. Then, I began to feel uneasy relying on medicines even after seeing so many signs and wonders.
In 2016, I got the same symptoms twice more, but I didn't take any medicines but received the prayer from Pastor David Jang with the handkerchief, and I recovered very quickly. I got the same symptom once again in 2018, but the pain disappeared immediately after the handkerchief prayer, and the inflammation was gone in 4 hours.
Now I don't have any arthritis or symptoms of the genetic disease. I am very healthy. Hallelujah!
My mother once had herpes zoster. She had itchiness, bubbles, and pain on left hand. However, she received the handkerchief prayer from Pastor Jang on telephone, and all the symptoms were gone. Next morning, the bubbles were present on her arm as well. She professed they were already healed because she received prayer the previous day, and they disappeared soon, too. We also see rainbows very often.
Rainbows give us special joy because it is a sign of God being with us. On February 6, 2019, we saw a very extraordinary rainbow. The rainbow was all over the sky, and it wouldn't fit in one photo, so I made a panoramic picture of several photos. It was truly amazing and fantastic!
I give thanks and glory to God the Trinity who is always with us and gives us happiness. Hallelujah!
