Nazareth, the beginning of the ministry in Israel
From the beginning of our church God gave us the duty to awaken Israel. Jesus was born in Israel and fulfilled the providence of cross, but it now has become a land barren of the gospel.
On July 25, 2007, the Israel ministry began by speaking in a Wednesday service in Living Spirit Church of Nazareth, where Jesus grew up. Rev. Jaerock Lee also led the Sunday morning service in King of Glory Church in Haifa.
In the 1st visit to Israel, Rev. Lee testified about Jesus Christ and prayed for the sick. Many divine healings took place and God was glorified. It was a big stepping stone for ministry in Israel.
In the 2nd visit, we had the Wednesday service in the Living Spirit Church in Nazareth on Oct. 10, 2007. Next day, we had a pastors' meeting in King of Glory Church in Haifa. On that Friday, we had a worship service in the House of Prayer Church in Ashdod, and one of those who were healed by prayer was an orthodox Jew. The next day, we had Sunday services in Ebenezer Church and Water of Life Church in Haifa.
The 2nd visit gave us a better idea of how the ministry was going to unfold itself and how we could cooperate with pastors there.
Proclaiming Jesus Christ at Bethlehem
The 3rd visit to Israel is significant in a sense that Rev. Lee proclaimed Jesus Christ at Bethlehem, the birth place of Jesus, on the Christmas Day of 2007. The local pastors were having a hard time ministering; only 1% of the population there are Christians and they were subject to discrimination. Rev. Lee delivered God's power and love to them thereby giving them strength and hope.
After the 3rd visit, we heard the news that many Israeli churches had revival and the churches in Bethlehem that used to be divided were now coming together. Another gain was that many Israeli pastors were being united to form one group.
The 4th visit was made in February of 2008. The first schedule was a meeting with the local pastors. Then, we had a united meeting in an African Church, Come and See Church in Tel Aviv. Pastors and believers were blessed in the meeting and 2 churches joined as branch churches.
In a meeting held in Ashdod, many healing works took place through Rev. Lee's prayer, including a man regaining his hearing after 53 years of hearing impairment. There was another meeting in King of Glory Church.
With an open heart, attendees heard the message, "Only Jesus is Our Savior." God's power was also manifested. One person recovered her eyesight and another had paralysis loosened.
Jerusalem and Eilat
During the 5th visit in April 2008, we had meetings in Jerusalem, Ashkelon, and Beersheba. Rev. Jaerock Lee proclaimed Jesus Christ wherever he went and manifested divine healing works.
The 6th visit was done in June 2008. It was the end of the 1st part of ministry in Israel and beginning of the 2nd part. In the meeting in Jerusalem, Rev. Lee preached about why God placed the tree of knowledge of good and evil. It was received as a blessing by many people. Through the prayer for the sick, there were those who cast away canes and others were set free from demons.
The ministry in Israel began in Nazareth and came down southward to Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Ashdod, and Beersheba, reaching Eilat the southernmost part.
The blind came to see, the deaf came to hear, and the lame men came to walk. Various cancers, AIDS, drug addictions, and so many other diseases and infirmities were cured, many churches joined as associative or branch churches.
Rev. Jaerock Lee has been testifying of Jesus Christ all over the world since 2000 as Jesus commanded in Mark 16:15, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation."
